Saks & Spades

I've never owned a pair of proper slippers. I finally got a pair. Not the fuzzy kind, but the truly classic, "fancy", if you will. On Friday when my mom and I went shopping we stopped at Kate Spade and I saw these shoes. I didn't know that they were slippers till I got home. But I was happy, none the less. I thought this whole time the slippers were orange silk too, but apparently they are red... Anyways I got these for truly a steel. I basically stole them. $20 for a pair of slippers that are normally 100$. They are really cute too, they fit true to size too.

I got an additional half off with the discount!! :D

Aren't they cute? I think that they look like a Christmas Present. And the snubbed toe looks really nice on taller people.

Can you see how I thought they looked orange? I still think they look orange, contrary to the box. I think the box lies.

It looks just like a Christmas present!

Proof that it is a house slipper.

The Dolce Vita Briar Nude Patent Leather Pump. I like the shoe. It has a feminine touch with the bow on the back of the heel and the snub toe. It is kind of a tight fit in the toe area though, I would recommend going a half a size up. It is a cute shoe though. It has a 5 inch heel and a 1 inch platform.

The thing that wins me over about this shoe is that fact that it is nude enough for my pasty white legs. Which is extremely rare.

The bow isn't patent leather though... it looks like real leather but I doubt it. All I know is that it is not patent.

I got two headbands from Saks that I thought were really pretty. I like the gold metal headband best, I actually love it. I looks beautiful with my blonde hair ;)

Now for the créme de la créme... I got a pair of Burberry sunglasses that I have been lusting over for about a week. I saw them for the first time when I went to the eye doctor to get my eyes checked, and then when we went to Saks I saw them again. They weren't in the black I feel in love with. They were in an interesting dark bluey teal color. I still love them, don't get me wrong. I actually might like them more because they pop against my pale skin, and they compliment my hair color.

This is my second pair of Burberry glasses. I have the eye glasses that I wear when I am not wearing my contacts. I am wearing them right now, actually! But here the glasses are. They were on major sale. Originally $230. I got them for $100.

Look at the side of these puppies. Aren't they beautiful. I think they are quite glam rock. They do add a pretty substantial amount of weight to the glasses though!

I HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR, AND ALL OF YOUR WISHES COME TRUE. I HOPE YOU GET KISSED AT MIDNIGHT AND I HOPE YOU FIND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR NEXT YEAR, AND GET IT. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!

XOXO

“Women dress alike all over the world: they dress to be annoying to other women”

I feel as if this quote is speaking directly to me. Everywhere I went yesterday I felt like people, specifically people my age, are trying to aggravate me with all the heavy makeup, jeans that show their hipbones, spider mascara and "I'm a lot better than you" persona. I feel like these people find me where ever I go. Any who, I have become entrenched in fashion lately. Like it took over my being. I always have one addiction, up until now it was makeup. Now I am into nice clothes, shoes, purses, and accessories? What have I come to. And when I think about it, when I get into something... I go full force and want the most expensive, and nicest thing out on the market. Is it a curse, or something that motivates me to save my money and get a job? The answer is both, but I don't think I will be buying myself a Chanel jumbo flap black caviar handbag with silver hardware anytime soon.

My good will today though the distractions with, quite frankly some of the weirdest people I have ever seen in my life, I managed to go to the Lacoste store to get a pink polo, since I didn't have one. I thought it would be good for summer, and I have been beginning to like the preppy 'Blair Waldorf' look.

I like the way that they wrap the polo, showing that you know you are buying something
         nice and worth your money.

Tell me that the Lacoste alligator doesn't look like it is smiling and quite a happy little
            thing? :)

That's what the Polo looks like. Its a medium semi vibrant pink color.

Signification that the polo you are wearing is most definitely Lacoste.

I don't really understand what the significance of the "4" in the upper left hand corner is
for... at all. But I noticed at the Lacoste store that almost all of the Polo's are designed in
France and made in El Salvador. Just and observation.

Since it is after Christmas, crazy sales are going on and all of the Polo's were 30% off. So
instead of 89$ they were 67$. Pretty good deal I think.

I think that considering that this was a women's size, that this polo is pretty huge for a
small. Definitely need to get an extra small next time I get one.

I got this pretty headband at Urban Outfitters, and thought it would look nice against blond
      hair.

I finally found a pair of feather earrings that I actually kind of like, they are white and a
natural brownish kind of color with a Crystal. They looked really nice with when I put my
     hair up.

Not today, but on Tuesday I went to Banana Republic because they were having pretty
good deals, and I saw in the "new arrivals" section this beauty. A Gardenia Pink Trench
coat. The front of the coat doesn't look like a traditional trench coat its a little more "straight"
if that makes sense. It look quite lovely on.

I love the little chain that nicer designer brands put on blazers and trench coats. Very nice
     touch.

I got this "sweater" for Christmas. I told my parents I wanted a Ralph Lauren polo shirt with
a "Big horse" on it (Singular). But My parents got me a sweater with "Big horses" (plural) on
it. Not a huge deal, I actually kind of like it. I don't think I have ever seen someone, where i
live at least, wearing something like this.

From the Sport line too, evidently.

I have really been liking preppy clothes lately, as evident. I guess the prep factor of where I
live is finally starting to get into my blood stream. Scary thought, but I hate dressing like
everyone else so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Hope you all had a happy
holidays, and if I don't get anything from the mall today, A Happy New Year!!
